FALL TOUR 2006

Tour Update September 14, 2006

Going on the road again!!!

We're playing 28 shows for the ALIAS & TARSIER U.S. Fall tour

4 deep breathing humans | 1 live ensemble:
Alias (mpc shredding, keyboards, fx, grand wizardry, do-or-die rapping)
Tarsier (vocals, helicon helion haling, baby taylor guitar, unipegacorn riding)
Healamonster (keyboards, ableton live, xylophone, spliff-rolling)
Matty McCullough (guitar, wasabi pedalling, hopsicle drinking, ebow magic)

Astronautalis (Fighting Records) will be opening for the dates 9/23-10/9.

Electric President (Morr Music) and Astronautalis (Fighting Records) will be opening for the dates 10/10-10/28.

All dates subject to change due to unexplainable universal forces.

SPRING TOUR 2006

Tour Update April 30, 2006

- H&T are going on the road! We will be on tour with ALIAS supporting the newly released ALIAS & TARSIER LP, "BROOKLAND/OAKLYN" (Anticon, May 23). The single "Dr. C" is available now on 12" wherever Anticon records are sold (features an exclusive remix by Healamonster). "Dr. C" has already been played on KCRW and BBC's Radio One. Below are some tourdates (as of April 29, 2006). Please double check anticon's website and the A&T myspace page in case there are any changes to venues/times. Thanks and see you out there!

-H&T are in KCRW's Top 50 Airplay (week of April 17 and 24).
Special thanks to KCRW DJs Jason Bentley and Nic Harcourt for continuously spinning "Cotton Candy (Moonbunny Mix)" and "Vista" off our EP

-H&T played on KROQ Afterhours three weekends in a row (thanks to Jason Bentley)

-H&T are #9 out of 25 at Amoeba Hollywood's Top Selling Electronic Albums for April 2006 (this is the fourth month in a row we've been in the Top Sellers List).

-H&T are #1 in Amoeba's Top 10 Local Independent Artist Releases (Campus Circle, April 26 - May 2 issue)

- We've completed a new EP, The heart of a blue whale is the size of a small car, which was recorded in Brooklyn, co-produced with Mitch Osias and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Audio. Preview tracks from the album on our AUDIO page.

-The heart of a blue whale...EP made it to Amoeba Hollywood's TOP ELECTRONIC SELLERS List for January and February 2006!! Thanks everybuddy...The CD was also featured in Amoeba's Homegrown ad in LA Weekly, January 5, 2006.

- Healamonster finished recording and mixing 9 Tons of Blood, a 10-track solo CD, mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Audio. We'll post some sneak peek audio clips for you soon

- The Alias + Tarsier album, "Brookland/Oaklyn" is completed and was mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA. The album will be released on anticon on May 24, 2006 (distributed by Revolver USA) and H&T will be touring with alias this summer. Check out anticon and Alias' site for details to come.

- We finished a remix of "Inch Inch" for Neotropic who will be releasing a remix album of her White Rabbits LP (Mush, 2004). Check out Riz Maslen's site for more deets.

- We are temporarily relocating from our beloved Brooklyn to the City of Angles and Angels in November 2005. That's right. We will be alongside you Angelinos in traffic on the 405, singing loud singing proud in some hybrid moto-pod something. We'll continue recording more tracks for our next album, Live from Green-Wood Cemetery.
